Fresh Trout, Summer 2001

Caught at Lake Mary. Sauteed in butter and olive oil. Served with grilled rosemary red potatoes, salad and cold beer (okay, not everybody got the beer). Delicious. Followed by a night of swimming, dancing, and cards.

That looks like such a fun time! My son just the other day was talking about eating fresh-caught fish on vacation - from TWO YEARS AGO! So I guess that's why playing with all those gross worms is worth it...

Looks like wonderful memories. My boy has been bringing up wanting to go fishing quite a bit recently. I think my water boy does resemble yours at his age!

Great picutes. We fished once. The kids figured out they had to actually touch the fish once it was caught.

Okay....so THAT'S the way I like to go "camping"....good food, cold beer, dancing on the tables, and TV...which means you have electricity...which means Debbie would NOT have to have the dreaded "hat shower" in the morning....I look like hell when camping...ergo...we don't very often!!
