Jen on the Edge

I hope Social Butterfly is on the mend soon.

LifeAsIKnowIt

Hope she is feeling better soon. My flu last month started with an awful awful headache and then turned into a fever...blech.
And, I don't know how single parents do it, either.
Hope everyone stays healthy over there!

jenrantsraves

I often wonder how single parents do it. Hope SB gets better quickly.

busy bee suz

I serisously feel sympathy for single parents...I always felt there needed to be a 1:1 child to parent ratio. Fingers crossed for SB.

Susan

Get well soon SB! Hopefully nobody else in the house will get it.

Smalltown Mom

You always worry about a sick child, no matter the age. Hope she's OK soon!

Stacie

I hope SB gets better soon!

Hope SB is feeling better!

I do know the tag team dance. Quite well. My husband has a lot of flexibility, thankfully. I have flexibility in advance but not on the day of.

And we have no sick leave or sick pay of any kind, so I am super motivated to do everything in my power to stop the cooties in their tracks. Dixie cups. Lots of onions & garlic stir fries. No sharing straws or drinking after one another. Always the drill sargeant on flu patrol.

And yes, absolutely have empathy for the single parents. Every day of my parenting career, in fact.

kcinnova

Every time a kid gets sick (and mine are now all old enough to stay home for periods of time alone, esp. when healthy!) I am grateful to be a SAHM. I'm also pretty sure that single parents are superheroes. My stints of geographically-induced single parenting is hard enough; I can hardly fathom how difficult it is for those who have no end in sight.

I do hope SB feels better soon.

And congratulations to the winners! I might have to try a silly walk...

Manic Mommy

One of the biggest reliefs in becoming a SAHM was not having to tag team days off due to sick children. I'd much rather focus on getting them better than what I'm missing at work.

Hoping for a quick, mild case for SB.

Jason

I think EVERYONE is sick right now. I hope your family doesn't have to serve too much time.

Kelly

I am happy I won, sad that SB is ill. I hope she recovers quickly and that no one else gets sick!!

JCK

Hope SB is all well for her birthday!
