That looks SCRUMPTIOUS. Thanks for the great idea!

Yum! Anything with fresh basil and tomato has my vote!

suburbancorrespondent

Good idea! But it isn't a summer sandwich unless the cheese is mozzarella.

jenrantsraves

Looks good, other than the fact that I don't like tomatoes. The Laughing Cow cheese is surprisingly good.

This looks so yummy...gorgeous tomato!

Fannie

Not only looks good, but I believe we have the same summer plates - Target?

Meg

Mmmm. I noshed on cheese, basil and tomatoes from the garden last night--with a drizzle of olive oil. It made me SO happy.

Brightside Susan

Yes to tomatoes and basil!

Suzy

I can remember the EXACT time and place I was when I discovered that real turkey had been replaced by the dreaded and water-logged turkey roll. A deli in NY.

Now all these years later and real turkey has not made a comeback except the fabulous and real turkey sandwiches at Koo-Koo-Roo.

Even the big deli restaurants that are well known here in LA use turkey roll. So wrong.

i love summer tomato sandwiches...been creating them all week!

Heather

This looked so good that I have now made it twice for lunches this weekend! Thanks!!
