Sunday Funnies and Coming Attractions

A shout-out to my designated driver, Alex, who made this post possible. His dimple?  To die for! Picture to follow, Mom willing.

Coming attractions . . .  Mamma Mia review (Mamma MIa!) and a BitchHer recap (not to be missed).

Prom, or A Date with the Interrogator

198_9885

Yeah, It was exactly like that!

For those of you who still have little ones you may not know how prom invitations have evolved. It's no longer enough that a young man work up his courage and simply ask a girl to the prom. Nope. Now you have to "invite cute."

MVP invited his date by printing up a t-shirt that said Prom? Then there were 3 checkboxes labeled Yes, Sure, and Hell Yes! He wore it under another t-shirt and at lunch he asked her to hold a Sharpie while he took off the top t-shirt. It sure would have sucked for him if she had written in Hell No!

Luckily, she went with Hell Yes. They are going to dinner at the same place Mr. Fix-it and I went for my senior prom--which happened to be our official first date. Maybe for Flashback Friday I'll tell the story of the drunk driver that hit our car after prom . . .
