Gorgeous pictures. I've never been, but it sounds like a perfect way to spend quality time with the family.

wind-blown hair - PERFECT! Really!

I love how you combine both words into one theme.
Our family card games are at night, "Oh, Heck" is the game of choice. It gets a little crazy with 2 decks and 12 players around the table!

I like your windblown hair photos. Your vacation sounds heavenly. We have jumped from beach to beach here, but always the same week of the summer. I am hoping we'll eventually find "our" vacation spot.

That sounds wonderful! I need a vacation sooooo bad.

Jen M

I would love to visit someday - that just sounds like so much fun. Great shots.

Good job working with the theme - great pictures of fun times.

Have a good day - Kellan

I love going hiking in Mammoth in the spring and in deeper parts of the forest there is still snow on the grown. And you're in shorts.

Um. "ground"

Is that your husband in the last shot? He looks like the husband on the show, Medium!

Makes me want to rent a boat and head to a lake.

Wonderful photos!

Green Girl

That's a lot of wind! But sure looks like fun!

<- Want a vacation & windblown hair

Mrs. G.

You guys all look so happy and healthy. What a great family you are-and so blonde.

mike golch

sorry I can't play along I don't know five poeple that go on vacation.

Great pictures. I want to go there! I need a change of scenery.

Five people with windblown hair. Inspired!

Great take on the theme, and great photos!

Domestically Challenged

WHOOOOH - windy - but sunny - wish I was there!

BTW You won! Hairy Hound thought you the most scrummy!

Can you email me an address to send 'Claudia' to?

Best wishes

Good interpretation of the challenge. Our family is getting to be "old-enough" to begin vacation traditions. This sounds like such a fun place for a California family.

Brilliant. And you outdoorsy active people -yay, you! Someone needs to enjoy all that nature :)

THat sounds like a wonderful family vacation tradition. It would be great to visit Mammoth in the summer!

The Introvert

For us, it's tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe River when it's 110 degrees, going to the Grist Mill for dinner, and then dancing at Gruene Hall. Perfect summer ritual!

I must learn more about the Weekly Word Challenge.

And. . . I haven't forgotten about your tag!

Aww man! Can I come? Teach me some card games lovely lady!! ;)

Hey, I have an award over at my site for ya. ;) Because you RAWK!!
