My first thought when I saw the Weekly Word Challenge words for this week, was "????" Then I had a really great idea involving a large fan and four of my daughter's closest long-haired friends, but that idea didn't have much chance of being executed.
So, this is what I came up with. Five people on vacation with Windblown hair.
All of these pictures were taken in our favorite place in the world (well, all the world we've been to so far), Mammoth Lakes, California. There's something about returning every year to a place where you've always had fun and everyone can spend two weeks doing the things they love. For us that means biking, hiking, kayaking, fishing and playing cards before breakfast with the best friends and family in the world.
Gorgeous pictures. I've never been, but it sounds like a perfect way to spend quality time with the family.

wind-blown hair - PERFECT! Really!

I love how you combine both words into one theme.
Our family card games are at night, "Oh, Heck" is the game of choice. It gets a little crazy with 2 decks and 12 players around the table!

I like your windblown hair photos. Your vacation sounds heavenly. We have jumped from beach to beach here, but always the same week of the summer. I am hoping we'll eventually find "our" vacation spot.

I love going hiking in Mammoth in the spring and in deeper parts of the forest there is still snow on the grown. And you're in shorts.

Good interpretation of the challenge. Our family is getting to be "old-enough" to begin vacation traditions. This sounds like such a fun place for a California family.

For us, it's tubing on the Comal and Guadalupe River when it's 110 degrees, going to the Grist Mill for dinner, and then dancing at Gruene Hall. Perfect summer ritual!
