If Stone Temple Pilots have (has? grammar anxiety!) any sense at all, they'll call MVP up on stage for a guest number. Make sure he takes his guitar.

Mom Taxi Julie

Don't you just love the teenager conversations lol.

JCK

These are SO great! Especially love the sheets.

And, your book list is fantastic for your nephew. I remember "All Quiet on the Western Front."

Suzy

If they're going to see Stone Temple P's on Sunday, McLoserstene and her OZ friend Mike will be there as well. He's 20 years old and so far on his trip stateside he's seen Cheap Trick and Stevie Wonder and soon STP. Today I said to him, "You know there is other music made later on..like in the last 3 years, right?"

manager mom

Hee... I love the roundup of the bon mots.

MereCat

Oh that was so funny! I particularly liked the guitar ditty.

Claudia

There is something special about having your own camera holding your own picture of your own special moment. ;) I get it.

Angela

Email is great especially if someone wants the picture who lives on the other side of the world.

You have quite a few interesting conversations at your house

Cheri @ Blog This Mom!

I love it when you do these.

I'm visiting Kristen and Adam this week, so you know I've got some more family quotes brewing too.

;-)

P.S. With the one from Courtney, now we have family quotes together!

Tina

Hah! Thanks for the laughs...Love the sheets one - boy, are you in for it.

Just Jamie

Do you keep a notebook with you during the week? I keep logging these little moments in my head to share, and then, they are forgotten when I get to the keyboard.

Love these Jenn.

Smalltown Mom

You run with a witty bunch.

stephanie (bad mom)

Oh the commentary of the young, always fun.

I'll put Scott Weiland's name in here in case he searches the Net for references; maybe he'll give props to MVP at the concert. For the clever impromptu song, not for drawing further attention to his drug use...We hope.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing :D

Lisa

Love it--I can totally see my kids with the sheet comment lol!

kcinnova

Oooh, do you live in a Pokemon world, too?

Denise

We pretty much had the same conversation about twin xl sheets..... lol!

Tammi

Crap, that's right, they don't make the twin xl sheets in high thread count, do they? I wonder why not? My kids would be with your kid.

Great ditty.

I think the kids have gotten funnier as they've gotten older.

mandy

These are always so funny. I can never remember what I overhear. I gotta start packing a tape recorder.

Kristen

'He did, but in a nice way.' hee hee hee! I also adore the pokemon lyric, what cuties they are.

The Girl Next Door

I love your blog, but I think these saturday snippets are the BEST. You have some great conversations in your house! i'm still working on capturing ours. Teens say the darndest things. (And I used to think only small children spouted amazing stuff!)
