This place is gorgeous. And such great memories. Love the full of life pictures.

We can only lose the people we love when we stop believing in their magic.

That place looks gorgeous!!

I second what Claudia said.

Wherever he is, he is smiling.

I never spent much time at the cemetary after my Dad died. I felt so much closer to him when I visted the places he loved.

Care Bear is lucky to have good friends to help her keep the good memories alive.

That looks like the perfect summer hang out. And its even more special about the memories too.

Nice pictures. Great memories.

Just read back on your old posts--he was with you; through your love and memories!

What a wonderful place to visit. It's a lovely way to enjoy memories.

What a wonderful way to honor his memory. And a very touching tribute.

That looks super refreshing! I imagine it is bittersweet, this vacation without your friend. But I bet he is smiling right along with your family.

Just Jamie

What a lovely way to be remembered. I can only hope I am honored in the same loving way.

Angie @ Keep Believing

Sounds like an emotionally trying vacation. The first of the "firsts" for you family and friends this year. It will be tough.

Prof. J.

I plan to do something like this with my sisters and my mother's ashes early in September. Sweet and sad.

San Diego Momma

That looks completely beautiful and peaceful.

Losing one's Dad is so terrible but having people who love you and keep is memory alive is so important! Care Bear is indeed lucky to have all of you in her life!

I am so glad to know you are intentionally going through this grief process together.

My mother's husband has been gone for 10 years now, and there are still bittersweet times.
