6:30-6: 50 Read Blogs.
7:00 Drive Carpool to high school.
7:10-7:25 Sit in car making Thanksgiving shopping list.
7:30-8:15 IEP meeting for Danger Boy.
8:30-9:45 Walk with OMomK.
10:00-10:15 Eat breakfast.
10:30-12:30 Grocery shop.
12:30-12:45 Wrestle turkey into fridge and $100 worth of baking supplies into cupboards.
12:45-1:15 Shower, etc.
1:15-1:30 Eat lunch, read blogs.
1:55 Realize that I am in the parking lot of the building where my Dr.'s office USED to be.
2:05 Check in late for appt. only to be reminded my Cobra nightmare continues and call insurance company so they can verify my coverage so I don't have to sign my life away to see my Dr.
2:30 Had medical assistant redo my height (I found it pretty difficult to believe I'd grown 3/4 of an inch), closed my eyes while she did my weight, Pap smear, flu shot.
3:15 Speed home.
3:30 Turn keys over to Danger Boy so we could go to orthodontist. It's his fourth time driving on the freeway--make of that what you will.
3:50 Only 5 minutes late to ortho appt. See Social Butterfly's bff from preschool. Go outside to see her mom. Mom has had 2 kids since I last saw her (9 years ago). She looks the same age as she did 10 years ago (which was 10 years younger than her age)--which is to say beautiful, slender, and beautiful (yes, she's that beautiful). She's eating a cheeseburger and drinking a milkshake. I would say "beyotch," but damn she's a nice person.
4:15 Continue errands with Danger Boy at the wheel (did I mention it was rush hour?). Spend an exciting 15 minutes waiting for kids in Costco as they search for a yard-o-beef.
6:00 Laundry, baking, cleaning (yes, I had peanut butter cookie dough for dinner. Sigh.
8:05 Write this post.
8:19 Done, done and really done.
8:20 Say goodnight to my able assistant and wonderful husband (who bless his heart is going to fold the last load of towels) and head upstairs to collapse.
Banana Bread ingredients are staged so it can bake while I go to the airport--who doesn't want to come home to the smell of banana bread baking?!
I think I need to spread this out over 3 days. Does that make me a wimp?
Keep the blood pressure low and spirits high by laughing much this weekend. :)

Had to read this one first. Love the title.
I often feel like my life is divided into one hour segments.

Costco sells yards-o-beef? Does it look like a roll of yarn? (Or is it a skein of yarn?) Or, does it not look like yarn at all. Which, why would it look like yarn? It's beef, not spaghetti. It's just that I pictured the yard-o-beef wrapped around something like yarn would be. Or would it?
Ooo, banana bread! Yum!

I'm amazed you had any blog reading time at all. The baking looks delicious and I love your kitchen.

You are too divine! Welcoming home son with fresh-baked smells! (Must be in the air--I made p.b. cookies the other day, too. Just in time for the after school crowd.)

Jenn, here you go again making me look like a really bad mom. However, in my defense, if the boys would go away for a few months I'm sure I'd want to welcome them home with good smelling baked goods too. I just wish they'd try it...

Breaking the day down into time slots seems to make it go so much faster.
Seems like a nice day though
