Just finished my third round of this. Now I have, like, a 10 year break before I have to teach my fourth child to drive. During that 10 years, I may become senile and unable to drive myself, though, so there's always that to hope for.
My daughter just got her license. Scary! and just like Patricia, now my licensed drivers think they are "awesome" and are always busy teaching me how to drive! My turn to master the art of the eyeroll.
Hahaha! I almost posted that one too! My fifteen year old is doing amazingly well and I think he will be a good driver. Unfortunately his dad wrecked the car that was supposed to be his so when he gets his license he's going to want to drive mine.

As soon as I saw ths cartoon this morning, I wondered if you would post it! I have 3.5 months until my third time around - and this one WILL the the worst!
On round 2 here... SuperDad was deployed during round 1, so I'm making the early days of round 2 his job. I've discovered that he & I have very different teaching styles.
Zits is a wonderful parent-teen cartoon.
Danger Boy 20 years old, plays water polo for Gannon University in Erie, PA. He's the strong, silent type. Studying PoliSci.
Grown-up Girl Dr. GrownUp Girl is happily home after finishing pharmacy school in Chicago. Busy building a post-student life with Dr. GrownUp Guy.
GrownUp Guy GrownUp Girl's husband and a most-excellent son-in-law. Oh yeah, he's Dr. GrownUp Guy, PharmD.
Mr. Fix-it Husband and father extraordinaire. He is gone more than he is home, but all his frequent-flyer miles keep this big family connected.
MVP 23 years old, graduate of Colorado State Fort Collins with a major in Wildlife Biology and a minor in sustainability. He lives in FoCo with his girlfriend, Mandy, and their dog Rosy.
Social Butterfly 18 years old, attends Northern Arizona University, majoring in psychology. She's my snuggle bug.
I feel your pain. I sat in the backseat with a coat over my head. Not sure it was legal, but it's the best I could do.

My mom couldn't handle it. She passed the reigns over to my dad which I now find hilarious, because he is a horrible driver!

Bless your brave heart. For my own mental health, I have turned this duty over to my husband's friend.

The first one wasn't so bad, actually. I have a few years to go before the second one starts driving.
