True that.

Oh! Thanks for the reminder to replace the poster board stock!

Yep, I bought some poster board this week. I read this out loud to my teenage son, who was lounging on the couch a little while ago PROMISING me he was working on a history assignment. He got a little defensive and said the teacher assigned it yesterday. Yeah, maybe this time...but this cartoon is all too familiar...

Kids should come with a warning label: will cause high blood pressure, especially where school project procrastination is involved.

That exact scene has been played out in my house...more than once!

Grrrrrr....this happens all the time in our house - it's so annoying!

I do this to myself all the time, but I imagine it will be frustrating when a child does it.

I'm doing this procrastination thing right now.

All. The. Time.
Drives. Me. Nuts.

My beloved MIL sent this to us recently because she knew we could relate.
Perfect! :)

Hey...have you been at my house? I love how you find these. ;)

I'm the type that does projects the day they are assigned. My husband? Not so much. If my kids take after him then I am DOOMED!

That is totally my son. Last minute for everything.

And, the poster board? The last time I had to make a late night poster board run, I went ahead and bought TWENTY. I have them right here in my closet hanging out the side. And, boy, have those been a lifesaver.

The Girl Next Door

This happens every time there is a project. i have come to expect it...sigh.
