I was watching some of his train ride today. What an emotional moment to see all those people crowding the town of Baltimore.

The end of an error.

"The end of an error!!" Love it!!!

Excitement has reached a fever pitch around here. It's crazy. But I'm lovin' it.

Can't wait! I have a whole bunch of family that will be there for the inauguration while I'm home (freezing) and writhing with jealousy. I can't stand it!

MJ

oh yes it is like that, and it can't come a day too soon. I pray for his safety, that nothing will mar the progress of our first non-white president, and that he can get the ball rolling quickly in the right direction!!

mandy

cannot wait to watch it... thank goodness we own the company, because it will be on the tv tomorrow

No use visiting a sitting duck just days before he flies home.

I'm interested to see what a new day will bring. I suspect there will be some changes to his plans as he becomes fully immersed in the job. It's not easy to be in charge of anything, let alone the U.S.A.

SC is right; excitement is at fever pitch here. The local news is full of glitches and hints on how to handle it all.
We've all been told to stay off the roads. A friend who works inside the beltway was told to work it out with her supervisor to not come in to work on Wednesday, either -- that traffic/congestion/etc. will still be a mess on Wednesday morning.
I don't expect to see my dh until very late on Tuesday night, if at all. (Part of the reason I decided to not go in: we can't both be gone, leaving kids at home alone, and he was my ride home--the train ticket was only one way)
Traffic is going to be horrendous.
It's best for the visiting lifeforms to come back next week to be taken to our leader. ;)

Bwhahahaha! Love it! And I love Manic Mommy's commennt "end of an error"!

San Diego Momma

I've also gotta go with Manic Mommy on this one.
