I make a Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie that my nephew Gangsta-Boy really likes. So I baked him one on his birthday Wednesday and had Danger Boy take it to him at school. On Thursday I was driving GB to the dentist.
GB: "E" says that we should put you in a sweatshop making those pies for us to sell.
Me: Or I could just give you the recipe and you can make them yourselves.
GB: But then it wouldn't be made with motherly love.
Smooth!

I'm sorry? Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie? I'd rather you make me one but I'll have to settle for the recipe.
Nice, Auntie.

I love when a conversation can include sweatshop and motherly love.

Yeah, you can totally get an Awwww! here. Totally.
Is that your heart wrapped around Danger Boy's little finger? I think it is. :)

Awww! Something tells me all the motherly love I could muster up wouldn't come close to your pie.

You know, they aren't too far off the mark. sometimes motherhood IS a sweatshop.

I forgot the Awww in my post this morning...
In response to your question regarding weaving. I did a few posts last spring, but I'll add to that as work with this new warp progresses. Nothing is really "photogenic" until I've started on a rug.

Awwwwwww....
It's wonderful that he can get that motherly love from you. The chocolate chip cookie pie is a definite bonus.
