haha yeah she'll def stick at it now and succeed just to prove this other girl wrong. Good for her.

They've just started to do water polo at our swim club back home and I was trying to persuade my boys it would be much more exciting than boring old swim training but they were not for convincing. I shall keep working on it.

Wow - I think I am first!

That girl might soon have to regret her words...
Go SB!

stephanie (bad mom)

Your girl rocks. I'm freaking proud and I'm not even related.

Grandy

She is super! I hope my daughter can say things like this when she is older!

gary

You would imagine that any girl who grew up with big, friendly brothers would know how to kick a$$!

Manic Mommy

SB has what's called 'the full package.' Make that polo snob drink her words!

jenrantsraves

Good for her! That other girl is just afraid she'll make her look bad!

Busy Bee Suz

I love it...that OTHER girl will be sorry she opened her big mouth.
I bet her brothers are thrilled to keep the family name on the team!

Your daughter has the ability to do anything she puts her mind to do. I'm guessing that this other gal just gave SB all the motivation she will ever need to be a kickin' water polo athlete.

In the other gal's defense, I do shamefully admit that until you made me realize how darned athletic a cheerleader has to be, I only saw cheerleaders as airhead girls with loud voices and pompoms. My bad.

Life with Kaishon

Wow. So cool. Good luck to her!

Suzy

I'd vote for her for President. Please God, let us have a crack at it! I love girls who don't cave.

Fannie

Hah! Those girls had better watch just who they throw down with!

imom

That's great! I love to hear about strong girls, I know they will grow into strong women and the world needs more of those!

San Diego Momma

I love a good skinny cheerleader kicking butt story.

(She's adorable.)

The GIrl Next Door

OH Yeah SB You Go Girl! Must take after you MOM!

MamaHenClucks

That's right - show those girls whose boss! Nothing like a super cute cheerleader to put the smack down and put those girls in their places!

phd in yogurtry

Alright! I love it!

JCK

That's so cool that she's going to do water polo. Love that picture.

Quynh

This is what I'm talking about. I spent an hour explaining to her that she needed to spend time on a collegiate scholarship sport. I met a man at Safeway in SD wearing his UC Irvine shirt; I asked him about it and he said his daughter played for them on scholarship!

Patti

My daughter quit cheerleading for swimming. Go SB!
