Thank you!
Nice pictures to rest my eyes on...

Beautiful pictures, Jenn. I've been to San Diego several times, and I've passed Balboa Park numerous times. I'm sorry to say I've never actually visited the park. Next time, it will definitely be on the itinerary.

Just got back a few hours ago from a day at the beach. It was lovely - Leo Carillo State beach, which has amazing tide pools. So many sea creatures seen today, and a whale off shore!

It's so true. My kids often tease that they've only ever been to the Alamo once and it's right here in backyard for all these years. We do get too busy with life to take time to visit the beautiful sites right around us.

I've missed you Jenn - sorry I've been MIA so much lately. Hope you are well. See you soon - Kellan

Manic Mommy

Makes me want to grab the kids and the camera and head over to The Public Garden, my favorite spot in all of Boston.

Busy Bee Suz

Great Pictures...looks like a day well spent!

When I was a young mother living in a very "ify" part of San Diego I would take my toddler to Balboa and while away the day just wandering from one place to the other and watching the old men pay baccia (sp?) ball.

I love Balboa. Oh and back then Mission Bay was another one of my favorite haunts.

What is that building in the top row middle?

The Mom Bomb

Gorgeous!!! If only I could grow flowers like that.

Beautiful day for being at a park!

We have so many wonderful places to visit in Seattle and we really only do it when we have visitors. Then we wonder why we don't do them more often!

The GIrl Next Door

Oh that's beautiful! I have never seen it on my short trips to San Diego! Maybe next time? hmmmmm???

Smalltown Mom

On one trip to San Diego we took the kids to the museums in Balboa Park and they loved them. It was better than going to Sea World, and way less expensive!

Mary Alice

Ohhhhh...so beautiful.

Wow, gorgeous! I love the pictures and the way you arranged them. I've been telling my husband for months, "I need beauty!" There is a serious lack of it in Pittsburgh.

I have a week long business meeting down there at the end of the month. We always spend one afternoon having lunch at Balboa Park.

But really, the Padres? Come on, San Diego, can't you do better than that?

Very pretty!

Oh how I miss San Diego - I hope my youngest decides to apply to school there so I will have lot's of reasons to visit.

Grumpy Momma

We have a public rose garden here in Connecticut...you've given me a great idea for something to do this Saturday! (And, yep, I DO wonder why I don't go there more often...)

Oh! We went to Balboa Park several years ago - it was lovely!

How lovely! I should definitely visit Balboa Park -- and San Diego.

We spent the first 2 days of spring break visiting places around here. It's something we ought to do much more often.
