Summer for us has always meant many days spent at our swim and racquet club--it's just around the corner and the water's always perfect. When the kids were little it was the place to hang out. Since everything is more fun when you have friends with you, my car was always full for the drive there.
One summer McDonalds had a deal where, on Wednesdays, hamburgers were 29 cents and they had "buckets" of fries for a dollar. As was our routine the kids and I picked up a couple of bags of hamburgers and some fries and headed to the club. MVP and Rebel, his childhood bff, were the senior kids in the bunch. They jumped out of the van and ran off to wait for me at the front of the club as I unbuckled carseats and herded the rest of the crowd through the parking lot.
The sight that greeted me when I got to the entrance was of MVP and Rebel entertaining the other patrons--they'd taken the empty french fry buckets and were holding them on their heads like horns while dancing around, singing "I'm horny! I'm horny!"
Um, yeah. Cute kids though.

Cute. When my older son was around 4, he was playing with a wrapping paper tube. "Look, I have a giant nose. Look, I have a giant arm. Look, I have a giant penis." In front of the relatives!
