I wish my neighborhood had kids :( Wrestling Fan would get a kick out of this.

(Btw, did I ever tell you that we lived in Chula Vista for a couple of years when I was a kid?)

Reluctant Blogger

My sons have these (well, they have Alive boards which are pretty much the same) and they love them. They say it is a lot like snowboarding but without the snow!

diane

Wow, that looks cool.

Not for me . . . but my boys. Anything that will take them away from xbox -- would be terrific!!

Thanks for the chance.

Mary Alice

That looks like fun. We have a long board that we all play with.

mysuestories

Reminds me of the time I told my son moms can TOO snow board....thirty seconds before wiping out!!!!! Pick me...I haven't had a good back injury in months!!!

Johannarupp@yahoo.com

That looks like so much fun!

kcinnova

If I win, I promise to not try it and subsequently injure myself. Besides, it's more fun to watch teenage boys wipe out! :)
But part of me would want to just mail it back to you for your kids because they look like they are having so much fun (and DangerBoy looks like a natural)!

tysdaddy

Sign me up, Jenn. ER, here we come!

MissM

My daughter TOTALLY wants one of these. We had a rather interesting encounter with a regular skateboard at Christmas time. Let's say the skateboard won. If I win, I promise to take turns on it with her. After I have the baby of course...

Green Girl in Wisconsin

That looks like SOOOOOO much fun. C'mon Jen, you have to pick some landlocked Midwesterners to win StreetSurfing!

Blognut

I love those things! My kids have them, we call them Rip-Sticks, but it's the same thing. I spent all of an afternoon being properly schooled on how to use it by a nine year old, and I actually can do it now.

:)

Minnesota Matron

I'd love to see my six-year old on that puppy! Thanks for the give away -- and for the link to Suburban Turmoil on my blog. Wow. Who knew. I marvel at how people can turn their blogs into financially sustaining enterprises. . . .

zelzee

You are so right! Good thing it is aimed at the younger generation!.

I couldn't imagine which body part I would "wave" goodbye to just trying The Wave!

zeghsy

ooh! my monkey just learned how to ride her bike. (better late than never right?) if she got one, it could be another thing i could ground her from until she cleans her room.

Suzette

My son's been wanting one of these contraptions for a while! Looks like fun. Is it easy to fall off of?

BTW, I have a litte contest for a free book for anyone with a college-bound kid! Jen, aren't you on the same college boat as me?? Maybe you'd like to give it a shot?

Val

My daughter would love that! Too cool :)

Mom Taxi Julie

My kids would love to play with that. I probably wouldn't be able to watch though!

MIME

My son was watching some kids ride on those while we waited in a parking lot - he kept saying he'd like to try that too. I agree with the other posts - what a great way to get them out of the house and "on the street". Thanks for the chance to win!

lol

How does zee blonde boy get zee hair so perfectly flipped?!

stephanie (bad mom)

I'm with you on the no-40+ moms-on-board policy but our neighborhood kids would love to take turns on this baby.

Thanks for the tips & opportunity :D

maggie may

yeah this weather has been yuck. your son has hair exactly like my oldest!

debbie

Oh Lordy but both my boys would love something like that...especially my 6-year-old...with a bit of 'dangerboy' in his personality, too!
thanks for the chance jenn...and gosh, IF i win, you could just send it to colorado and save on that pesky ole' international shipping!! :-D

allmycke

Oh I want! Not for myself but for the neighbourhood teenagers who have started their summer holidays. They practically LIVE in the yard outside my windows...

Megan

Hook me up!

CC

Forget the kids! I want to learn how to use this!!!!!

Shelley

Oh, the neighborhood we just moved into has about a bazillion kids. My kids would love one of these.

jenn

So cool! And watching my kids try to master that would be hilarious. You know, for me.

anna see

Oooh! Cool giveaway. I'd love for (my kids) to try this out.

nashvegas

I would so hurt myself. But the eleven-year-old would love it!

Mel, A Dramatic Mommy

I think I'll leave that to my husband and son. Our summer camping plans just fell through. I'd love to give this to Tyler as a cheer up gift!

Katie

I've never seen or heard of these, but they look fun! :)

I have two teenage girls and a young boy who would probably love to try this as they like skateboarding.

I linked over to you from the Woman's Colony, and love all your posts I've read so far!

clint weems

Looks really fun!
im lovin it already!

andrea

They say that you must twist your body to keep the board moving. Maybe good for a mom who could shake a few pounds off. Or for the kids to keep them busy over the summer.

ProjectRunway

Female fashion models who work with the designers throughout the season are also in the competition. Each week, as the number of designers dwindle, the number of models are also reduced, with one model remaining at the end. Models are randomly pre-assigned to a designer during the first challenge, and from the second challenge onwards, the designers will have an opportunity to pick the model they wish to work with. This usually happens during the start of every episode save for the first, with the winner of the previous challenge receiving first pick, and the other designers picking models in order through host Klum's random draw of large red shirt buttons with their names stored in a black velvet bag. Though, there are times when only the winning designer will be given the choice to pick with the following choices: either keep his or her previous model, take the losing designer's model Project Runway from the last challenge, or switch models with another competing designer

Place timers on a few of your inside lights to give the appearance that someone is home. It is always smart to vary the time every few days so that a pattern is not realized, if you are being cased. X10 makes a variable timer that will change the timing for you automatically.
