A very sad thing happened after these pictures were taken. I broke my wide angle lens by knocking it off a table (a mere 3 feet off the ground). We'll see what I can accomplish in the coming days with a 70-210 zoom while furious at myself.

Yeah but have you lost 3 pairs of eyeglasses in your own house? Didn't think so.
Ouch about the lens! Suzy: don't feel bad - I've had to ask my neighbour to call my cell phone twice so I could find it in my apartment... Where was it, you ask? On the vanity...
Maybe it's something necessary (that I wouldn't know about because, um, watersport), but it warms my heart that you are all touching each others' boats. You are such loving people.
Wonderful pics. I mourn the loss of the lens with you, and raise you a dropped-in-a-puddle camera with a roll of used film (an old loss that still stings - Alaska, 1981).

OH, so sorry. But look around you, wow!
How can you NOT find your mellow? It's everywhere.

Sorry about the lens, but your beautiful surroundings would make anyone mellow.

Oh man! I'd be in mourning if I broke one of my lenses!
The pictures are gorgeous though and it looks like you are having a great time!

The lens is nothing but glass. The memories you make are much more important!
