In response to yesterday's post, I received the following comment from my good blog friend (and my future therapist) Suzy Soro. She is also a font of knowledge of all things comedic--she's currently running a series on how to be funny that is incredibly instructional--and may lead to your reading more about my neurotic inability to allow any injustice pass without comment or action (this would be my deconstructed persona).
Back to the comment from yesterday.
I think it just shows how much support the family gives him, which is what a child needs to succeed. Your family is the same way, but you're just projecting your fear of people thinking you would be branded braggy and self-congratulatory.
I've really had too much therapy.

Suzy! Insightful much? Sheesh.
This is why I failed psychology.

You know, Jenn? This is why I like you so much. You allow strangers on the web to diagnose a situation and then you think about it and own it. I'm very much like you, when someone tells me something about myself I always think WHOA, how did I miss THAT?
I look forward to the day we meet and take down all the cretins.

Yes, very insightful. And a very nice perspective.

Don't you love it when you get comments that can really make you think, and you know people took some time making them??

Heh. I was totally thinking the same thing. :)

I would love to let her loose on a few of my friends!! Hmmm. But, what does THAT say about me? ; )

"...my neurotic inability to allow any injustice pass without comment or action..."
