Amen to peanut butter, it has been our Avenue of choice for many years. I hope Beaux gets better soon, it is always hard to have a member of the family so sick. I know all too well.

Life with Kaishon

Oh. LOVE that medicine trick! Perfect!

Isn't it funny how we go to the internet for the best advice anymore? What would we do without our blogging friends?

I have been a lame visitor and commenter lately, but do know I've just read your last five posts...and you're being wonderfully creative with dog meds; you are admirable in how long you can stay awake; and I just like you.

Little Miss Sunshine State

I just had a chance to catch up on the Beaux story. I'm glad things are looking optomistic and that really IS the cutest beagle I've ever seen!

Reading about Beaux here and over at the Colony, I realise just how lucky I have been with my pets. I've had them vaccinated, neutered and such but spent next to no money in comparison to so many others.

Beagles steal your heart, with their flapping ears, flag-like tails, and goofy grins. We've been through three bouts of partial-paralysis due to a pinched nerve with our Beagle buddy, Scout. I can't conceive of what we'll do if it ever gets so bad that we have to make a big decision. Molly our "lap"rador and little Scout are the lights of our lives.

Scout recommends having the pills ground up and mixed with shredded cheese and a bit of milk, then spread atop the morning chow. Well, he WOULD recommend if he realized that's what's hidden in his daily "bonus"!
