On the Road to Righting a Wrong!

It was Danger Boy who told me about Proposition 8 being overturned. “Hey Mom, did you hear . . .?”

We are all so excited.

And may I just say? When a 17-year old heterosexual clean-cut, varsity athlete type with aspirations to be a firefighter is celebrating a victory for gay rights, then there may be hope for this country after all!

I'm trying to find the humor in the reaction to "activist judges" overturning the "will of the people" and how maybe "democracy is dying" here in my little part of the world.

And I should emphasize "little". I find people to be rather small-minded here.

But I'm glad to see Prop 8 overturned.
