Great photo. I can see your weight loss Jenn. Your face is thinner--looking great!

That's how I feel about the band parents and the band kids.

You guys could just be the 'Ex-Water Polo parents' and still do the roadtrips but go hang out at wineries!

Little Miss Sunshine State

That's what it was like when my daughter did competitive dance. She still misses it too.

I can picture this scenario, because we have accidentally lived it before! Chaos. And fun....great memories Jenn. Love the photo of the happy Moms.

Ha, I like the idea of doing winery road trips!

We haven't really done much out of town traveling with a bunch of kids. Now I feel left out. ;)

We have the same experiences with my kids swim team. It is a great group of parents and kids and we make sure we have as much fun out of the pool as in.

The best part is that I know if I need to be place A and my kid is swimming in place B, there is a mom and/or dad that will get her there and cheer for her and I will do the same for their kid!

That's really cool that you can befriend other parents like that. I hope you guys can stay in touch!

A lot of Gremlin's classmates were the younger siblings of HRH's classmates, as such, we spent a lot of time together over the last four years, as all of us were first navigating these waters. Same thing; we really liked each other.

We're at several different schools now but working on staying together. Good luck and enjoy!

Awww. Dang. Now I'm sorry for you and with you that this is winding down. You're gonna need to volunteer, even when your kids aren't participating.

Plus, I can already tell that you're going to be on hecka stellar grandma when your grandkids arrive...You'll be at every concert!

I can't believe they swam (and WON!) after eating a bunch of ribs! Oh, to be young and have a strong stomach.

Why do you have to miss them a year from now? Can't you still get together? Their nests will be empty too, you know! : )

Am I losing my eyesight (eek) or do none of the moms have on wedding rings?

I'm sitting here judging.

Jenn @ Juggling Life

Hey! Did you go to Washington or not? Im thinking not because you would have written about it.

That sounds like so much fun. No wonder you love it!

I'm so sad that you didn't get to finish your ribs and drinks though.

Aw, what a great thing to connect with the other parents on the team like that.

I miss it a lot now that all of my kids are done with sports. I think about many of the parents and kids from those days, wondering what they are doing now. Enjoy these last couple of years! And college time, too, if they continue to play...

Looks like a great group!

The only thing I was sad about football being over was my little group of parents I was hanging out with!! Hanging out with people 6-8 hours a week you get pretty close to them.
