I agree that smoking is the biggest downside to Vegas. The movie theater was a good escape plan and pasta sounds like an excellent antidote to all that crazy.

I've never been to Vegas, and never care to go there. (And Cancer sucks, but you already knew that.)
Congratulations for being back on track!

Busy Bee Suz

Glad you were able to fit it all in this weekend.
I am with you on the smoking...it is a huge downfall in Vegas.

Smalltown Mom

Busy busy. I'm glad you fit it all in!

My aunt had cancer, and beat it, but STILL smokes like a chimney. It irritates me to no end. I used to have a good friend who would light up after every meal we had together. I don't miss her that much! Ha.

Oh, and I am pretty sure I would HATE Vegas. But if Andrea Bocelli ever performs there, I would go in a heartbeat.

I've never been to Vegas, but the smoking thing would make me cranky.

Slow Panic

OK, that's a crazy weekend! Weekends have seemed so busy around here lately I've actually been pleased when Monday rolled around. Haven't been to Vegas -- but I would HATE the smoking....

Just weighed in for the first time since the beginning of December and found I had gained almost 4 pounds - even after almost starving to death because of my sore throat/head cold around Christmas!

Extremely disheartening...

I HATE Vegas and it's not the smoking -- just everything about Vegas. I hope to never step foot there again.

Just got one more reason to NOT want to go to Vegas.
My feelings about smoking come from my own experience of having had lung cancer and beaten it (so far - 3 years and counting...)
As for cramming that much into one weekend - I get tired just from reading about it!

I hear you. I went to Vegas prior to my adult onset asthma and I know I would never survive it now!
There are so many other great places where smoking is not part of the landscape. Like San Diego (we visited last year!) Seattle is pretty much smoke free. It is wonderful to be able to breathe!

green girl in wisconsin

Wow did you cram in a busy weekend!
I've never been to Vegas--but I learned last night that my husband was trying to plan a trip to surprise me for my birthday. We aren't going because we can't find anyone to watch the boys. Perhaps that's okay.

So, drunk dancing, eh? You and I should go out sometime!

Baby Favorite

Too bad I didn't run in to you there in Vegas!

I understand about the smoking connection...
