For some reason the sight of the poinsettias on the outdoor tables really tickled me as I ate my fish tacos at The Green Flash in Pacific Beach after a boardwalk bike ride with MVP on Tuesday.
I have had friends that have moved away tell me that what they miss most about San Diego is the blue skies (this photo is straight out of the camera—no monkeying around with it). I believe them--which is why I plan on staying here forever!
If I put my poinsettias outside, they'd die within an hour or two!

Jealous. So jealous.

Yes, poinsettas wouldn't make it outside even an hour here - at -19C.
Today on the way back from Dad's I got to see how the sky was shifting from baby blue, over pink in different shades and finally greys in all hues. But I do understand what you're saying aout those blue skies... Beautiful!
I also wouldn't mnd a few days in a place where I could flash mypale legs;-D

You are killing me here. I miss so much about SD and I was just writing about not having enjoyable places to go walking (or riding for that matter) and then I click over here. Sigh. I should never have left, either...

I'd be happy for some blue skies right about now!

That is a blue sky indeed! I'm still trying to get my mind around poinsettias OUTSIDE.

I have no idea why, but this post makes me miss Roberto's. I just loved the carne asada burritos.
Of course I'd be happy going to Rubio's as well. Hmmm...it must be time to start dinner!
