I have not posted in forever it seems--nor have I been around to visit any of you (unless you're also FB friends--I saw you. Congrats Gary on the Maker's Mark for Christmas). I have been knee-deep in all that is the holiday season and I'm just this side of being sick to death of eating, drinking and being merry. But not quite, which is why BIL and his family are coming for dinner tonight and The Girl Next Door's family tomorrow night. Then there's New Year's Eve . . . I hope I survive.
Thank goodness I came back on a Wordless Wednesday-I have a photo I wanted to share:
Jenn and RB-(Harvard '13 and Ivy League Softball Pitcher of the Year [also MVP's best friend growing up]).
This was from the party I went to last week. Right after this picture was taken, she want upstairs to change. I thought we looked cute, but I can see her not wanting to be twinsies with me! First party where many of the young 'uns were over 21. Now that will make you feel old!
I hope you are all having a lovely holiday season!
You look absolutely beautiful in this picture. :) Glowing and happy! I'm glad you are having a wonderful holiday with your family and friends! Merry Christmas, and have a happy New Year!

We are smack in the middle of a wonderful week of quiet, staying home and not worrying about homework. I love it!

Cute sweater, but what impresses me the most is how white your teeth are! Do you use something or get them whitened by a dentist?
Also, I would like to get my eyebrows done by whoever does yours!

How cute you two look--and in a very flattering color!
Things are the same here-- a lot of eating and visiting and sluffing off.

Hahaha! Yes, me and the wife exchanged gifts on our 19th wedding anniversary, which is also Christmas....and had each gotten the other a bottle of maker's Mark, surprise!
Have an awesome new year jen, you know we will all be along with you for the ride :)

Either you have very 'young' taste in clothes, or she has um, um....older taste in clothes. You know what I mean :)

Except for ripping up carpeting that is being replaced next week, we're pretty quiet.
Next week Cape Cod Kid and Cape Cod Girlfriend arrive and it will be all eating, drinking, theme parks, beach and outlet shopping down here.
Enjoy the rest of your holidays

You look so happy and so beautiful, both of you! Happy New Year!

You are looking great!
I can relate to the eating and making merry (although I've not topped out -- and won't get the opportunity -- on too much drinking). Currently I'm enjoying the quieter house tonight with only 7 of us and the knowledge that bedtime won't be postponed to 1:30am.

If the two of you ever show up wearing matching track suits on a cruise, trying to hook up with the available senior cit men, then we'll know you have a problem. For the time being, you're both beautiful--and who cares about matching looks?

Funny. I went to a party last summer and found I was wearing the same top as the hostess. After a photo, she went and changed. :)
