I am not sure who is playing this week, because I forgot to send out a reminder until five minutes ago. I will add links as they come in, or they will be in the comments. Also? To those of you that would like to participate, but don't have a scanner or the time to scan your photos, mine are all just snaps of the photo, still in its frame, taken with my iPhone. Easy-peasy.
I am generally not a fan of formal portraits--probably because I'm not really a big fan of formal anything. I am much more of a candids person. Plus, I've always taken tons of photos of my kids and when you take as many as I do, you're bound to have some keepers.
I did do a formal portrait (Portrait People coupon maybe?) the Christmas right after Social Butterfly was born--she was about a month old.
What I think of now when I look at this is that the clothes were pretty and the kids themselves adorable, but formal portraits? Still not a fan.
Also? It's always a shock to remember what a brunette my little blonde SB was. And those shoes the boys were wearing? I can't remember what they're called, but they're like little construction/hiking boots and they were so cute. And Grownup Girl's hair? To this day, I would kill for hair like that.
Last of all, SB could definitely be some weird stuffed baby doll in an episode of Criminal Minds. I'm actually considering taking the picture down after looking at it this closely. On the bright side, it's in one of those picture screens with 11 other photos, so nobody else is looking this closely at it!
No Timewarp next week--I'll be celebrating both Christmas and my fifth blogoversary next Tuesday. My, how the time does fly.
I am in, I am in, I have a good post! This is the MOST delightful family portrait indeed, funny, your sons are both finishing college, your girl in college, a world away from this picture!

LOL I think it's kind of cute :) And it's fun to see the age differences, you know? I just did mine, was in bed and looking through my email and saw your reminder: http://fondofsnape.com/?p=4815

I just posted. http://outnumbered2.blogspot.com/
Not the oldest picture, but one I have been thinking of lately.

Not sure why the photographer had SB posed so awkwardly, but still it is super cute!

Like you, I'm a candid fan. We've never had a formal photo taken of us, so I don't have one to share. SB=edible.

Time Warp Tuesday is a lovely idea! I have a ready-made subject to fall back on and I get to share some of the pictures I have in drawers, albums and boxes.

Could SB be any more gorgeous?!?! I mean, every one of those children is beautiful and absolutely precious, but she is a Gerber baby through and through! Melting here...

I just saw the comment by susan Walker and thought - did I comment in my sleep?!
Anyhoo - yes, candids tell the real stories.

Gotta love the posed portrait. We only did the school ones and one family one with D's tribe years ago--it was AWFUL!

The photos are really cute...and your commentary very funny!
All our earlier formals (sears!!) are kinda stuffy too; not such a fan.
I'm thrilled you have all your birds in your nest right now...enjoy!
XO

I appreciate most of all your dislike of posed portraits and natural affinity for candids. In that, right there, I can see why you're so easy for so many of us to like. Because who lives posed? We all live candid!

When my oldest 2 boys were little-littles, a formal shot was one of the few times I could get a picture of both of them. (My first walked 2 weeks before the 2nd one was born.)
GuG is gorgeous in that shot and DB is such an adorable toddler.
