A note to my faithful and patient readers--I am really and truly back. I promise new content at least twice a week--and I will sprinkle the rest of our epic trip stories in with some more topical musings. Thanks for sticking around!
Because I'm a woman, there's got to be a quibble with something related to my appearance--I should be standing a little straighter. But that's just a quibble. I really love this photo of the six of us. Though marginally less than I like the picture below, which is destined to be a lifetime fave.
Photos like this are the reason for the axiom, "A picture is worth a thousand words." Yes.
Be sure to visit Karen over at Spokalulu and Brightside Susan for their Time Warp posts (and Gary, of course-he's always in)--and let me know if you want to play along; the more the merrier.

Love Love LOVE these pics!
And "seconding" Jen's comment above :)
I know that professional photographers are expensive (and for good reason), but this outsider thinks that Whatever was spent on GuG's professional pictures was money well-spent.

Just spent some time reading over your last handful of posts--ah, my return to blog reading, after an absence of too many weeks (speaking of busy months just past!). Your joy and gratitude and exhaustion all speak to me. Well done on every last bit of it, and congratulations to all your wonderful family.

It's the casual shots that bring out the biggest personality. That second one is wonderful!
